Traveling to Iceland 2020 – Traveling during a pandemic

Traveling DURING A PANDEMIC

Wonder how it is to travel during a pandemic? How you can make the necessary precautions? Or maybe you’re curious about Iceland?

We traveled from Norway to Iceland, two countries with very little Covid-19 cases. However, we still took all precautions necessary, and then some more. Watch this video and join us on our first flight since January 2020, and get a first look at how Iceland is during the summer.

First day of the trip:

We traveled from Gardermoen airport in Oslo, Norway to Keflavik airport outside Reykjavik in Iceland. (Before that we tested ourselves for Covid-19, it was, of course, negative, we also wore facemasks when required and made sure of social distancing. We followed all rules in Iceland and Norway). We rented a car from Enterprise car rental that we had during our stay. We stayed at Radisson 1919 for the entire stay. On the first night, we visited Sushi Social in Reykavik to have dinner and drinks.
